Slacking again

Well, I have been missing again, like I said I wouldn't.  :(  July 8 was Quinn's birthday.  We had a few of his friends sleep over, then they had a big party on Sunday, July 6.  It was beautiful weather, and I think everyone had a good time (even though Quinn was barely awake - ha ha).  Then Quinn had Tallinn over for a one-on-one sleep over on his actual birthday, and that worked out fantastic, too. (They got more sleep this time).

July 19 was our 16 year anniversary.  The boys stayed the night with the Perry's, and we had a wonderful evening of take-out Indian food and watching "The Bankrobber" in a quiet house together.

Skip ahead to the week of July 21.  I worked the Games for Windows - LIVE booth at a Microsoft conference in Seattle called Gamefest.

then on Thursday and Friday, I attended the Casual Connect Seattle conference (a casual games conference).

Luckily mom let me sleep in her guest bed so I only had a 15 minute commute each morning instead of an hour each way.  :)

Matt and Karen and the kids are visiting this week, and we are super excited!  Hopefully we will have pictures!  (Ya right)

Big SALE!!

clip_image001

If you are reading this after July 13, sorry.  But from July 11-13, 2008, MSN Games is having a 50% off sale on all of their download games!  Eva LOVES these, and tries almost all of them.  They are usually 19.95 (they are full fledged games that have tons of levels) but you can get them for around $10 this weekend.

If you want some suggestions, drop Eva a line, or try these (some of our favorites)

Crazy Fourth of July

As usual, we had a blast with our neighbors on the 4th of July.  This video was from another firey concoction created by the Taylors.  Not long after this, we had an errant mortar fly in to our neighbors pile of unused fireworks and caused an explosion.  No one was hurt, (luckily), but we all got a little freaked out.  Oh, and that was before someone called the paramedics to help Jimmy (a friend of the Taylors) because he had blood in his colostomy bag.  Fun times.  :)
