Quinn's word of the day

Not to be outdone by Jill's picture of Emmett's puffy eyes, here is a quick pic of Quinn's splotchy elbows (his eyes are a little puffy in the morning).

If you came over on Sunday (we had a family fun day for Ryan) Quinn told you within 1 minute of arriving that he has itchy elbows, ears and knees.  We went to the doctor on Monday, and it was diagnosed as Erythema-Multiforme.  Nothing contagious or too scary, but we got some topical ointment to ease the itch, and we will just keep an eye on it.   Enjoy the photo!  :P

Word of the day: Synesthesia

How weird.  A few months ago Eva and I had a conversation with the Perrys on how we relate time and dates in our head.  I use a circle/clock-like image to resolve months (May is toward top, December at bottom, etc) and Brian has a sort of treadmill with upcoming dates rolling up and over the lip toward him as they get closer. 

Well, I stumbled on the term for this.  Synesthesia.  If you can use this word in a conversation today, you win $10!  Of course, you immediately lose $10 for being a dork, but know that -I- was impressed. :)

Fantasy Football Winners!

I have been playing Fantasy Football (with Ryan) for 7 years now, and we recently handed out the trophy and money to our winners.  Here is our league champion, Teriyaki Choppaz (also known as Brian Perry) with the trophy:

And here is Monroe Mustangs (also known as Mike Penick) with his portion of the as-collected prize money as 2nd place and points winner!

I came in fourth place, behind our friend Steve (whose baby you saw from earlier posts) and Ryan.... came in last place.  :(

Fun times, though!  Congrats, guys!
