Is it creepy? Or cool? You decide.

Check out this quadruped robot.  It is pretty realistic, and amazing when you watch it navigate difficult terrain...

Happy St Patricks Day!

From our family to yours.

Enjoy this little movie we made for you. It took a lot of practice! Especially since Kasey kept stepping on my toes. Tomo was too fat to get in to a dress, so he sat this one out.

An ode to Clam Chowder

So, last Saturday the boys were having trouble going to sleep.  They were laying in Quinn's room (they like to sleep in the same room on weekends) watching movies.  At about 10pm, they switched over to classic Pink Panther episodes (they will sometimes fall asleep to those) while Eva and I watched Season 2 of The Office on DVD in the family room.

Well, I guess Pink Panther had some soup in one of his episodes, so the boys got it in their head that they were hungry for soup.  After a bunch of whining and giggling and negative ("no, boys, it is too late for us to make you soup!") response from the parents (although we tried to appease them with saltines), they got creative.  At about 11:15 one of them (I didn't see which one) creeps out to the living room and throws a paper airplane at me and runs back to the room.  After opening the airplane to read the note, Eva and I laughed our butts off for 10 minutes, and then promptly heated up some soup (Kal actually preferred leftover fried rice) in the microwave because they deserved an "A" for effort and originality.

Funny kids.

In case you wanted to see this statistical data (of course you do): here is a quick graph showing the number of stores for each state divided by the number of residents:
